What a fantastic day today. Pupils from Astley Park School and Oliver House came with us to @Glenroyde Garden Nurseries to fill 100 sandbags with compost. The bags will form a low living wall at the Chorley Railway Station. Our thanks to Robert Duckworth owner of Glenroyde who gave the pupils a brief tour and a glimpse of how the nurseries work. Many thanks also go to the pupils together with Jamie, Elaine, Gill, David, Maggie and me for all your hard work. We were blessed with good weather too.
