We had a lovely time at our workshop on Thursday with Astley Park School pupils. Ethan and Konrad had pruned the hazel bushes that were very overgrown on Wednesday. The pupils from APS used the trimmings to form them into wreaths ready for drying. These are drying in the polytunnel. We are all looking forward to adding leaves, berries and baubles nearer Christmas.
Pupils were really engaged with this workshop when we explained about recycling the hedge cuttings.
