We had 8 volunteers from the Hydrock/Stantec company working with us at the Community Garden yesterday. They cleared the border we share with B&Q, secured the green screening and planted a fruiting hedge. The hedge includes elderberry, dog rose, rowan, hawthorn, blackthorn and crab apple. Then the area was mulched with bark chippings. Perenials will be planted in the spring. What a fantastic group of volunteers. Thank you.
