Healey Scouts and their leaders gave up their time on Saturday to plant a fruiting hedge along the fence at the Chorley Railway Station. They litter picked, put down a membrane and then filled the ditch in with a great lorry load of soil. The soil was brought by Chorley Council and the trees were supplied by the Woodland Trust. Thank you everyone who helped. You did a great job, I’m sure the wildlife will benefit for years to come.
